Back in the 1920’s fashion was all about fur coats, fringe, feather head bands and polka dot dresses. The polka dot dress was sought after by the youth of 1920, worn as house and garden dresses. Typically, these dresses had an array of dots that were large to dots the size of a pencil tip. Dresses back in the 20’s had full skirts with a cinched in waist and v neck line. Once polka dot dresses came about Disney also produced a character known as Minnie Mouse that wears a polka dotted skirt. Before long everywhere had the design and celebrities started to wear it.
